September 26 – Turn in unused or expired medication for safe disposal — 10 AM to 2 PM — The Santa Monica Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) encourage you to rid your home of potentially dangerous prescription drugs by bringing unwanted medications to the Public Safety Facility (front curb) at 333 Olympic Drive. (From Pico Blvd., turn right on 4th Street, then turn left on Olympic Drive.) The service is free and anonymous; no questions asked. Can’t make it on September 26th?
