July 16 – Fairview Branch Library – Grand Opening – All day – “Join us for food, fun, and entertainment to celebrate the new look and feel of the Fairview Branch.” – 2101 Ocean Park Blvd.
Enhancements to the Fairview Branch’s interior include new carpeting and paint throughout; upgrading of electrical; installation of central air conditioning; improved interior lighting; new shelving for adult books and media collections; a new configuration for the adult computers; added book displays; a more efficient service desk; more self-checkout stations; and easier access to the ADA restrooms off the community room. Fairview Branch’s Library hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, noon to 9 PM; Friday, noon to 5:30 PM; and Saturday 10 AM to 5:30 PM.
