Supported by the City of Santa Monica, the symphony has been performing free concerts  since 1945.

June 1 – Fairview Library – Fairview Branch Library, 2101 Ocean Park Boulevard, will be reopening to the public on June 1 after being closed for interior improvements. Enhancements to the Fairview Branch’s interior include new carpeting and paint throughout; upgrading of electrical; installation of central air conditioning; improved interior lighting; new shelving for adult books and media collections; a new configuration for the adult computers; added book displays; a more efficient service desk; more self-checkout stations; and easier access to the ADA restrooms off the community room.

Fairview Branch’s Library hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, noon to 9 PM; Friday, noon to 5:30 PM; and Saturday 10 AM to 5:30 PM. Branches are closed on Sundays.
